Winnie has wanted one of these appliances for a while. A customer of his give him a demo about a year ago and he was very impressed. There was a stall at the Mt Barker show and when he saw it he dragged me along to have a look. We booked a demo and as of last Tuesday we are now the proud owners of a new Thermomix.
Is it worth it? Yes, for us I say it is, with our style of cooking and all that it can do we will definitely get our moneys worth out of it. I would suggest to anyone who likes kitchen gadgets, who likes the idea of milling their own grain, making their own caster sugar and icing sugar. It chops, kneads, cooks, blends, all sorts of wonderful things.
It would be a great way to set up a kitchen if you are just starting out, or like us, have old appliances that needed replacing all at once.
We haven't stopped using it yet and pretty much make every meal in it.
