One thing that did happen though is I saw a koala in our street. I have never seen one here before, not this far in town before, anyway. She has a baby on her back too.

Koala sighting!
Well not much has been happening to my weedy winter garden. I did come outside today and try and catch some sun, but it keeps hiding.
One thing that did happen though is I saw a koala in our street. I have never seen one here before, not this far in town before, anyway. She has a baby on her back too.

Wow! I love the baby clinging to her neck. Was she moving really fast? It looks like she's running along (or legging it, as we'd say where I'm from)!
ReplyDeleteThey have this weird kind of gallop and are pretty fast. Those front claws are more like little hands though and they are a lot faster climbing.
ReplyDeleteShe went up the the very top of the nearest gumtree, just across from our house and stay till that nigh. The next morning she had moved on.
It was awesome seeing her so close to our place though.
